How to make Protein-Packed Buffalo Chicken Dip
We’re big fans of Buffalo Chicken Dip, and if you are too, this recipe will take your tailgate party all the way to the end zone! We’ve swapped one bar of cream cheese for two containers of yogurt. Each container of yogurt contains 15 grams of protein, compared to just 2 grams from the cream cheese. This extra 30 grams of protein adds gut-healthy probiotics and immune-boosting nutrients. Plus, the ranch seasoning packet is a healthier choice than ranch dressing since it’s oil-free. Serve our protein-packed ‘Buffy Dip’ at your next tailgate or house party, and your guests will be happy and fans!
Ingredients
serves 10-12
- 2 c shredded chicken breast
- 1/2 c Buffalo sauce
- 2 (5.3 oz) containers nonfat plain Greek yogurt
- 1 (8 oz) bar 1/3 less fat cream cheese (softened)
- 1 (1 oz) ranch seasoning packet
- ¾ c shredded cheddar cheese, optional
Directions
- Heat oven to 350°F.
- In a medium-sized mixing bowl, blend together all the ingredients.
- Evenly coat a pie plate or shallow baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
- Pour the dip into the pie plate.
- Bake for 30 minutes.
- If desired, add cheese and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes, until melted.
- Serve warm with your favorite tortilla chips and veggies!
